The Fine Print
01
A credit card is typically required to reserve a bin and must be provided at the time of booking unless you have a pre-approved and established monthly account with us.
02
Your credit card may be pre-authorized for a minimum amount of $500 prior to the delivery of your bin. The final charge will be processed after the bin is emptied, and the total amount is determined.
03
To protect your driveway, we place wood under the bin. If you require a sheet of plywood, please provide it to the driver upon arrival or ensure it is placed in the drop-off area before the bin is delivered. In some cases, we can supply and position the plywood for you at an additional cost of $100 per sheet.
04
To ensure the safety of your property and a smooth bin rental experience, it is the customer's responsibility to inform Disposal One of any relevant details prior to delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the location of septic tanks, interlocking driveways, gardens, preferred bin placement, or newly seeded grass areas. Providing this information helps us take necessary precautions to avoid any potential damage.
05
Disposal One is not responsible for any damage caused by leakage from the contents placed in the bin by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that items placed in the bin are securely contained to prevent spills or leaks onto the driveway or surrounding areas.
06
The customer is responsible for any unusual wear and tear, damage, or destruction to the bin while it is in their possession during the rental period.
07
Bins may only be removed, relocated, or repositioned by Disposal One. Any such requests from the customer will be addressed as promptly as possible.
08
The bin placement area must be accessible for both drop-off and pick-up. If the area is obstructed or inaccessible at the time of delivery or retrieval, a missed drop-off/pick-up a minimum fee of $150 may be applied.
09
Overloaded bins will not be picked up, and a missed pick-up fee of $150 will apply. Additionally, a second drop-off fee of at least $150, depending on your location, will be charged for the delivery of an additional bin. To avoid this, we recommend requesting a bin swap during your project rather than overloading the bin. If you are uncertain about the required bin capacity, we can help you determine whether one or more bins will be needed.
For safe transport, the bin’s contents must not exceed the height of its top edge to allow the roll-over tarp to be secured. Overloaded bins that cannot be transported will incur the same missed pick-up and additional drop-off fees. Wood products and tree branches must be cut to fit within the bin, lying flat and not protruding above the top.
For detailed dimensions of our bins, please refer to our bin dimensions page or contact us with any questions.
10
Any hazardous waste found in our bins will incur a $30.00 charge per item.
11
The 3-day rental period begins on the day your bin is dropped off and ends three days later. We operate on a “before noon” and “after noon” policy and require 24 hours' notice for bin pick-up to avoid additional rental charges.
For example, if your bin is dropped off before noon on Monday and picked up before noon on Thursday, no extra rental charges will apply. To ensure timely pick-up, it is the customer’s responsibility to call Disposal One and request the bin pick-up within the allowed time. In this example, you would need to call before noon on Wednesday to schedule a pick-up for Thursday. If you call on Thursday morning, an additional daily rental charge will apply as same-day pick-up cannot always be guaranteed.
